Cross-border e-commerce is developing dramatically. In 2013, the amount of cross-border e-commerce transaction exceeded RMB 3.1 trillion, accounting for 11.9% of the total import and export trade. Experts predict that, in 2017, the cross-border e-commerce will reach about 20% of the Mainland import and export trade and the annual average growth will exceed 30% in the future. The industry is optimistic about the prospect of cross-border e-commerce.
